Original language description
The microflora of the hypocrenal parts of ten creeks in the Javorníky and Moravskoslezské Beskydy were studied as a part of hydrobiological research focused on the influence of forestry on water quality. Mostly species of clean, cold watercourses were found. Species with wide ecological valence occurred mainly in creeks with a catchment area affected by forest management. A special attention is devoted to cyanobacteria.
