Original language description

A carnivores stonefly Arcynopteryx compacta has been known only from a single locality in the Czech Republic (Bílé Labe River in the Krkonoše Mts.) so far. It is a critically endangered species in the Czech Republic. In a pilot study in 2006, A. compactawas found in one locality in the Moravskoslezské Beskydy Mts. During the detail investigation in 2007 ? 2009, it was recorded in additional 19 localities (13 streams).The validation of the occurence of Isogenus nubecula in the Moravskoslezské Beskydy was another part of this investigation. However, the occurence of this species was not confirmed.
