Original language description
Changes in the glacial lake Stará Jímka and its catchment during the Alleroed and Younger Dryas periods were reconstructed, based on pollen, remains of chironomids and cladocerans in the paleolake sediment, and abiotic proxies. Laacher See Tephra layer was discovered for the first time in the Czech Republic. The Late Glacial vegetation development of Stará Jímka was divided into four phases; last two phases were attributed to the Younger Dryas stadial with climatic deterioration.
