Using the hydrological balance model Bilan and a simulation model of the storage function of water management systems, the potential impact of climate change on the provision of water withdrawals for drinking water supply from reservoirs in the Czech Republic was assessed. The risk of insufficient provision of current actual and permitted water withdrawals was identified.
