Mercury in sediments and fish in Czech rivers
Original language description
In samples from 35 Czech rivers the total mercury concentration was evaluated in bottom sediments in relationship to concentrations of this pollutant in fish. The multiple regression analysis demonstrated a possitive correlation of total mercury in fishmuscles on the mercury concentration in sediments, fish age and on the position of the species in the food chain.
