    Gene for apolipoprotein A5 is important genetic determinant of plasma lipids, mainly of triglycerides. On a sample of 131 males, followed for 8 years we have shown, that the Ser19>Trp variant in the APOA5 gene may play an important role in an individual's sensitivity to dietary composition.

    Gen pro apolipoprotein A5 je důležitým genetickým determinantem plazmatických lipidů, především triglyceridů. Na vzorku 131 mužů, sledovaných osm let jsme prokázali, že Ser19>Trp varianta genu pro APOA5 může hrát důležitou roli v určení individuální citlivosti na změny diety.
