Successful elimination of recurrent ventricular tachycardia by epicardial ablation over coronary artery supplying postinfarction aneurysm
Original language description
Ablation of ventricular tachycardia may be a challenging procedure once the arrhythmogenic substrate is located deeply in the myocardium. Radiofrequency catheter ablation directly upon the coronary artery that feeds the arrhythmogenic substrate may successfully eliminate otherwise inaccessible ventricular tachycardia. Visualization of the thrombus located in the left ventricular apex may be enhanced by insertion of the intracardiac echocardiography probe directly into the left ventricle cavity.
