Therapeutic gastrointestinal (GI) endoscopy is rapidly evolving. Its role in the management of motility disorders of the digestive tract is increasing. This Guideline is an official statement of the European Society of Gastrointestinal Endoscopy (ESGE). It provides guidance on the endoscopic management of Zenker’s diverticulum, gastroesophageal reflux disease, intractable constipation, and Ogilvie’s syndrome. The Grading of Recommendations Assessment, Development, and Evaluation (GRADE) system was adopted to define the strength of recommendations and the quality of evidence.
