The infection spreading in patients with infected diabetic foot ulcers (iDFU) is preventable by theinduction of sufficient serum and peripheral tissue concentrations of applied antibiotics (ATBs).Theimpact of peripheral arterial disease on ATB levels in people with iDFU is still unclear.The aim of theDFIATIM trial was to determine the possible impact of circulation parameters on achieved peripheraltissue levels of time-dependent ATBs.
