The PACE.V4 Touring Conference - Transport and Infrastructure in V4 Performing Arts took place on 4th – 15th June, 2016 in seven destinations in the Visegrad region: Budapest (HU), Topoľčany (SK), Žilina (SK), Olomouc (CZ), Ostrava (CZ), Katowice (PL), Krakow (PL). The conference offered a non-traditional format of an international meeting from participants from Europe, Asia, the Visegrad Region and the Eastern Partnership countries, and the representatives of performing arts. The infrastructure in the concept of the conference symbolized conditions for theatre productions with the overlap to cultural policy and financing of the artistic creation. The transport represented the accessibility of the productions from theatre and dance fields, and the conference focused on working with the audiences as well as general social and political contexts of places and countries, where the artists work. The conference offered a number of lectures and discussions, which were freely accessible for professionals and the general public. The project combined several formats of international cooperation: direct meetings at the conference as well as tools such as a website of the project, blog, Facebook page and a private group of the participants, shared data space for contacts, photos, audio recordings, presentations and other materials for the conference. The conference program provided the participants and the general public with a number of presentations, lectures and discussions.
