The article reflects development of script during the 13th and 14th centuries in Czech lands. It concentrates on the research of manuscripts coming from the Benedictine St. George´s Convent at the Prague Castle, the oldest and one of the most important Bohemian convents. An active scriptorium with typical script´s and decorative forms in this convent presents higher cultural level in Bohemian nunneries, as well as cultural changes in the medieval Bohemian Kingdom.
