Ottnangian Bryozoa and Foraminifera from the Vienna basin (Slovakia)

Original language description

The Ottnangian sediments are very poor in remnants of Bryozoa in the Alpine-Carpathian region (borehole Cunín 4, Cunín 21). The age was proved mainly by Foraminifera. 25 Bryozoa species and 45 Foraminfera species were determined. The studied associationof Bryozoa is very similar to those described from Austria (Bauderndorf, lower Austria), which is the Eggenburgian in age and to the association from Hungary (Fót, near Budapest), which age is the Karpatian. On the other hand the Foraminifera associationof the mentioned localities are completely different.
