Original language description

Anthaxia (Haplanthaxia) bellamyi sp.n. from South Africa, A.(H.) gussmannae sp.n. from Kenya and A.(H.) holmi sp.n. from Kenya, Zimbabwe, Mozambique and South Africa are described and illustrated. "A. hilaris species-group" is transferred from the subgenus Anthaxia to the subgenus Haplanthaxia. A.(H.) bellamyi sp.n. is included into the A.(H.) hilaris species-group, A.(H.) holmi sp.n. into the A.(H.) sculptipennis species-group and A.(H.) gussmannae sp.n. is treated as a separate, monospecific species-group
