Original language description
Poly-cultural archaeological findings were dicovered in the cadastre area Hostivice near Prague. Seventeen burial pits of the Knovíz culture have been discovered yielding skeletal fragments of 22 persons and about 60 "traditional cremated Knovíz graves.Well-preserved skeletons have only been found in four of them (9 individuals). The other locations yielded only fragments of post-cranial parts of the skeleton, or fragments skulls. This article shows results of the keystone of the anthropological analysis of well preserved skeletons.
