    Palaearctic species belonging to the Coccinella transversoguttata species group are revized and redescribed: C. transversoguttata transversoguttata Faldermann, 1835, C. magnopunctata Rybakow, 1889 and C. Marussii Kapur, 1973. Coccinella marussii sensu Fürsch (1981) from Turkey is recognized as a new species ? C. hodeki sp. nov. Notes on some other Palaearctic species of Coccninella Linnaeus, 1758 are given with respect to the new "Catalogue of Palaearctic Coleoptera". Coccinella tibetina Kapur, 1963 isregarded as a valid species, not a synonym of C. saucerottii Mulsant, 1850. Neococcinella Savoyskaya, 1969 is synonymized with Spilota Billberg, 1820 and Spilota is confirmed as a valid subgenus including three species: Coccinella alpigrada (Iablokoff-Khnzorian, 1957), C. miranda Wollaston, 1864 and C. undecimpunctata Linnaeus, 1758.     Revize palearktických druhů ze skupiny Coccinella transversoguttata s poznámkami k některým dalším druhů tohoto rodu (Coleoptera: Coccinellidae)

    Jsou revidovány a znovu popsány palearktické druhy skupiny Coccinella transversoguttata: C. transversoguttata transversoguttata Faldermann, 1835, C. magnopunctata Rybakow, 1889 a C. marussii Kapur, 1973. Coccinella marussii sensu Fürsch (1981) je považována za nový druh ? C. hodeki sp. nov. S ohledem na připravovan nový "Katalog palearktických Coleopter" jsou uvedeny poznámky k některým dalším palearktickm druhům rodu Coccinella Linnaeus, 1758. Coccinella tibetina Kapur, 1963 je považovna za platný druhnikoli za synonymum C. saucerottii Mulsant, 1850. Neococcinella Savojskaja, 1969 je synonymizovna se Spilota Billberg, 1820 a zároveň Spilota je potvrzena jako platný podrod zahrnující tři druhy: Coccinella alpigrada (Iablokoff-Khnzorian, 1957), C. miranda Wollaston, 1864 a C. undecimpunctata Linnaeus, 1758. Jméno C. venusta (Weise, 1879) je vyňato ze synonymie C. adalioides Capra, 1944. Coccinella iranica Dobrzhanskiy, 1926 a C. alpigrada jsou nové druhy pro Turecko.
