Hygrotus ahmeti sp. nov. je pospán ze sevrovýchodního Turecka. Náleží do podrodu Coelambus, konkrétně do skupiny kulovitých druhů kolem Hygrotus confluens (Fabricius, 1787). Některé detaily o novém druhu jsou nakresleny a klíč druhů rodu Hygrotus uvednýv práci Fery (2003) je modifikován aby zahrnoval též H. ahmeti sp. nov.

Czech description
Hygrotus ahmeti sp. nov. is described from north-eastern Turkey. It belongs to the subgenus Coelambus, in particular to a group of globose species around Hygrotus confluens (Fabricius, 1787). Several details of the new species are figured and the key toHygrotus in Fery (2003) is modified to include H. ahmeti sp. nov.
