Schafarzikite from the type locality Pernek (Malé Karpaty Mountains, Slovak Republic) revisited

  • Original language description

Schafarzikite was found atfer more than 80 years at the type locality near Pernek (Malé Karpaty Mountains, Slovak Republic). Crystals, druses, and crusts of schafarzikite occur on fractures in quartz-carbonate-stibnite hydrothermal ores in association with ankerite, berthierite, stibnite, valentinite, kermesite, senarmontite and gypsum. All physical and chemical characteristics of schafarzikite and some associated minerals are given in the paper. Schafarzikite from Pernek most likely crystallized from late oxidizing hydrothermal fluids.

Nový výzkum schafarzikitu z typové lokality Pernek (Malé Karpaty, Slovenská republika)
