The history and present state of Trichoptera research in the Czech Republic
Original language description
The history of the trichopterological research within the territory of the present Czech Republic is summarized. According to our present knowledge, 252 species were recorded from the territory of the Czech Republic during the last 150 years. However, 9species have not been found since the middle of the 20th century, therefore they are considered to be regionally extinct (RE). Of extant species, 31 % are qualified as threatened (19 are critically endangered - CR, 26 endangered - EN, and 30 vulnerable -VU). The actual checklist of Czech Trichoptera (including new records of Rhyacophila laevis Pictet and Hydroptila vichtaspa Schmid) is presented and thethreat categories RE, CR, EN, VU are indicated.

Czech description
Je shrnuta historie trichopterologického výzkumu na území České republiky. Podle současných znalostí bylo z území České republiky během 150 let zaznamenáno 252 druhů. Devět druhů však nebylo od poloviny 20. století nalezeno, a proto jsou považovány za regionálně vymizelé (RE). Z žijících druhů je 31 % kvalifikováno jako ohrožené (19 jako kriticky ohrožené - CR, 26 jako ohrožené - EN a 30 jako zranitelné - VU). Je prezentován aktuální seznam českých chrostíků (včetně nových nálezů Rhyacophila laevis Pictet a Hydroptila vichtaspa Schmid) s označením kategorií ohrožení RE, CR, EN, VU.
