    During the Thirty Years War a big amount of books was as a war-booty transported from Bohemia to Sweden. The ?lost books? are since 18th century object of interest of many Czech and Moravian scientists. In the 19th century, the role of the National Museum in Prague in the research in Sweden was very important. The Museum and his patrons supported research journeys of the Czech scientists to Sweden and manuscripts were loaned, transcribed and the transcription kept in the Library´s collection.
