Original language description
The paper deals with taxonomic revision of the hipposiderid genus Triaenops with description of a new species from Southern Arabia and definitions of a new genus and tribe. Originally, the genus contained from two to four species, the revision proved sixspecies in the whole distribution range (including a new one, T. parvus), however, the Madagascar content of the genus (T. furculus, T. auritus and T. pauliani) was separated into new genus, Paratriaenops.
