Original language description
Two new species of the genus Phaenops Dejean, 1833 from China: Phaenops yin sp. nov. and P. yang sp. nov., belonging to the P. cyanea (Fabricius, 1775) species-group, are described, illustrated and compared with similar taxa: Phaenops cyanea (Fabricius,1775) and P. knoteki knoteki Reitter, 1896.
