Original language description

In 2006 the Czech Museum of Music?s collection of materials pertaining to the composer Josef Suk (1874-1935) was enriched by an important acquisition in the form of a gift from his grandson, the violinist of the same name. This study provides detailed information, primarily about the most important part of this acquisition: autographs, sketches, and manuscript copies of the composer?s works. In addition to musical manuscripts the acquisition includes correspondence, photographs, and personal documents.
