During a forgotten expedition to the interior of Borneo, Czech explorers Jaroslav Boháč and Otakar Pekárek observed and collected over 100 birds, most of which are now deposited in the National Museum, Praha (Prague), Czech Republic. Their itinerary is reconstructed and the historical and ornithological significance of their bird collection is discussed.
