Nach dem Tod von Vojta Náprstek erhielt das von ihm gegründete Museum in Prag seinen Namen. Náprstek lebte zehn Jahren in den USA und brachte 1858 unter anderem eine bemalte Bisonrobe der Dakota mit nach Prag. Der Artikel vermittelt neue Erkenntnisse über die Herkunft dieser Bisonrobe.
