Life and work of Vilém Němec, Adolf Lípa-bey, Emil Roubíček and the young Czech physician Vlasta Kálalová who devoted herself to research and treatment of tropical diseases in Turkey and Iraq, starting with a subsidy from T.G. Masaryk. Besides her professional activities she built important entomological and anthropological collections which found their way to the National Museum departments.
