    Development of the rural settlement in Moesia Inferior reflects the socio-economic transformation during the Roman rule. One of the main questions to deal with is the extension of the Latin-Roman cultural influence on the rural society. The establishingof the Roman rule brought process of creating relationships between two cultural/ethnical groups running on several levels: social, economic, political, administrative, ethnical and cultural. The territory of the Lower Danube limes is the zone where it is possible to observe the cultural diffusion and interaction of these cultural groups.
