The seventh excavation season of the Archaeological Expedition to Wad Ben Naga focused on the continued excavation of the so-called Typhonium. A substantial part of the main sanctuary of the temple was uncovered, yielding large amounts of finds includingstatues of Amun and Mut and the god Apedemak. Excavations proceeded also south of the pylon of the temple. The expedition carried out. re-excavation and continued conservation in the area of the western entrance of the Palace of Queen Amanishakheto (WBN158), and geological survey of the hinterland of the site.
