Original language description
A collection of small votive Buddhist paintings from Mongolia are kept in the Náprstek Museum in Prague. The outgoing research focuses on Buddhist iconography of the votive paintings. During the research, the analyses of pigments were conducted. The results show the employment of traditional mineral pigments, as well as modern artificial pigments including highly toxic colorants.
