Book presents studies on Afghan prehistory and history up to the coming of Islam, evaluates artefact loaned from the National Museum of Afghanistan, brings new scientific look on the Pre-Islamic period in Afghanistan based mainly on recent archaeological excavations at Mes Aynak in Logar Province. Special attention was paid to results connected with restoration and analyses of the loaned artefacts as they brought new information on art in Kushan and Sassanian Mes Aynak.
