Use of 3D digital model for estimation of composition of medieval coins
Original language description
3D digitization of object of collections does not serve only preservation purposes as permanent digital replica, but can also be re-used and exploited in a different way further extending protection of the original physical object. Hybrid test and investigations can be designed combining a real-world measurements with a digital model. In this paper, a possibility of estimating density of object based on its digital model is examined on the case of coins.
