Original language description

Taiwanese populations of Wallacea dactyliferae Maulik have been misidentified. They represent a new species, which is described here as Wallacea yuae sp. nov. This new species infests local palm species (Arenga tremula (Blanco) Becc., Arecaceae) and differs from other described species in a distinct structure of the endophallic sclerites.
