Wad Ben Naga Report II : The Eastern and Small Temples
Original language description
The present book is the second volume of a series of reports dedicated to the archaeological exploration of the archaeological site of Wad Ben Naga, located in the River Nile State of the Republic of the Sudan. The report focuses on two temples located in the eastern part of Central Wad Ben Naga, namely the so-called Eastern Temple (WBN 500), including a couple of nearby structures (WBN 550 and WBN 560) and the Small Temple (WBN 400). Accordingly, the publication is divided into two parts which comment on previous works in the temples, recent re-excavations by the Archaeological Expedition to Wad Ben Naga, and finds from both Sudanese and recent excavations. General interpretations of both temples, as well as their chronological development are discussed and presented in interpartitive parts.
