It contains his biography, chapters dealing with historic milieu of England in the time of his sojourn, with a relationship between Hollar and Czech milieu especially in the 19th century. Following chapters deal with Hollar?s significance in context of British and European art of the period as well as with current cataloguing of his graphic oeuvre. The book contains also sections dealing systematically with his work.
