In 1912 the Czech painter František Kupka presented in the Salon d?Automne in Paris the first two radically abstract paintings ever exhibited: Amorpha, fugue ? deux couleurs and Amorpha, chromatique chaude. The National Gallery commemorates the centenaryof this event with an exhibition presenting Kupka with his participation in the Paris Salons since 1899 till 1913. The panel discussion focused on the problems of artist?s strategy, public relation and the art market.
