This article focuses on the reflection of the work of Lucas Cranach and his circle in the Lands of Bohemia. New findings showed, that the contacts of the Saxonian painter Lucas Cranach in Bohemia and Moravia were very intensive. Many important works of Cranach´s career (such as the Prague Altarpiece. the painting Law and Grace) were commissioned in Bohemia or Moravia.
