The CD ROM is devoted to the greatest collection of Egyptian textiles in the Czech Republic, stored in the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague. It consists of 427 items most of them dating from Late Antiquity and the Coptic era, with some from the Dynastic and Islamic period. Table of Contents: Acknowledgements, Introduction, Abbreviations, Catalogue, Glossary, Bibliography, Indices: General, Collections. The Catalogue presents the complete selection of items in a well-arranged and easy to handle format, full text search, and access to full photos as well as details of almost all items. The Glossary offer an explanation of the basic methods of textile formation, combined with a selection of drawings to further clarify these processes.The Indices contain a complete list of all terms used in the text, as well as a quick reference system showing you exactly where the given terms appear in the original text. CD ROM je věnován největší sbírce egyptských textilií v ČR, uložené v Uměleckoprůmyslovém museu v Praze. Obsahuje 427 položek, většinou datovaných pozdním starověkem a koptskou érou, s několika z Dynastického a Islámského období. Obsah: Poděkování, Úvod,Zkratky, Katalog, Slovník, Bibliografie, Rejstříky: obecný, sbírkový. Katalog představuje kompletní výběr předmětů ve snadno dostupném formátu. Glosář nabízí vysvětlení základních metod textilní technologie, kombinovaný s výběrem názorných kreseb.Rejstříky obsahují kompletní soupis všech termínů užitých v textu a rychlý referenční systém ukazující uplatnění v textu. CD-ROM obsahuje kompletní seznam exponátů a fotografie z výstavy Poklady z Egypta, konané v Praze v r. 2000. (Text 384 stran, 850 barevných obrázků, 70 kreseb)
