Artěl 1908-1935. Czech Cubism in Everyday Life

Result description

The German language publication explores one of the most outstanding institutions specializing in Czech applied arts and design during the first half of the 20th century. Founded in Prague in 1908, the artist cooperative Artěl associated prominent figures of the Czech art scene from late Art Nouveau, through Cubism, to Art Deco. The book was prepared by the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague in collaboration with the Grassi Museum für Angewandte Kunst, Leipzig, to accompany the exhibition held in the Grassi Museum from the March 25th to October 3rd, 2011.

Die deutsche Fassung des Buches erschien in Zusammenarbeit des Kunstgewerbemuseums in Prag und des Grassi Museums für angewandte Kunst in Leipzig zu der gleichnamigen Ausstellung im Grassi Museum vom 25.3.-3.10.2011.
