    The publication is focused on the historical and artistic development of glass production in Bohemia, Moravia and Silesia from the Middle Age up to the contemporary glass art. Particular attention has been drawn to the Baroque and Rococo engraved and painted glass, to the colorful glass of the Biedermeier period and to the modern glass objects and sculptures as well. The book includes about 170 examples from 600 years of Bohemian glass from the collection of the Museum of Decorative Arts in Prague displayed in Japan in the travelling exhibition in 2014-2015.
