The text is a follow up many years of research on Zika Ascher and his wife Lida, who dedicated their lives to designing and manufacturing clothing textiles in the second half of the 20th century in Great Britain. The text was created for a British professional magazine and is a proof of the continuing interest of British professional public in the topic of Jewish emigrants persecuted by Nazism, in their contribution to post-war Britain and in the history of textile design.
