Photodynamic therapy based on the application of K562 cells (ALA-PDT) initiates mitochondrial proapoptotic processes which procede as the cell necrosis. By means of mass spectrometry seven proteins were identified on 2-D protein maps the expression or mobility of which was altered following photodynamic treatment.
