By means of two-dimensional electrophoresis the effects of photodynamic therapy, ALA-PDT, were studied on leukemia cell lines HL60 and K562. By mass spectrometry (MALDI-TOF) the proteins affected by ALA-PDT were identified, among others the chaperones HSP60 and HSP90. ALA-PDT induced phosphorylation of HSP90 leading to the destabilization of the client (onco)protein BCR-ABL and its proteasomal degradation.

Metodou dvojrozměrné elektroforézy byly studovány účinky fotodynamické terapie, ALA-PDT, na leukemické buněčné linie HL60 a K562. Hmotnostní spektrometrií (MALDI-TOF) byly identifikovány proteiny, jež byly ALA-PDT ovlivněny, kromě jiných chaperony HSP60a HSP90. ALA-PDT indukovala v buňkách K562 fosforylaci HSP90 vedoucí k destabilizaci klientního (onko)proteinu BCR-ABL a jeho degradaci proteasomem.
