Original language description
A roundtable of the leaders of international and national psychiatric associations addressed the impact of the Russian invasion of Ukraine during their meeting in Warsaw, Poland on February 24, 2023. Discussed were the consequences on the system of psychiatric care, country infrastructure, mental health of the population, namely children and young people, combatants, and refugees. Among other outcomes, the participants pledged their support by providing training for mental health professionals in Ukraine, developing mental health services for those affected by the war, tele-mental health services, assisting with rebuilding facilities and services, establishing research programs.
