The relationship between central serotonergic activity and insulin sensitivity in healthy volunteers.
Original language description
We studied the relationship between central serotonin (5-HT) activity and peripheral sensitivity to insulin. A negative correlation was found between central 5-HT activity measured be the use of D-FF challenge test and parameters of insulin sensitivity measured by the hyperinsulin-euglycemic clamp technique.
