    Nowadays, CSF cytology is a quickly developing discipline in our country. Its contribution leading very frequently to etiological diagnosis of impairment of nervous system is a substantial moment. A series of several CSF preparations with the use , of adequate staining procedures is usually required. Diagnostic potential of CSF cytology usually comprises neuroinfections of all types, subarrachnoid hemorrhages,because CT scan is negative in many clinical cases, and neoplasias of CNS. , Atypic of malignant cells are frequently observed in CSF in malignant meningeal infiltrations, so called carcinomatous and leukemic meningitis. ,
