Expert consensus statement for periprocedural anticoagulation and antiplatelet therapy in elective bronchoscopy

  • Original language description

The aim of these guidelines is to minimize the risk of bleeding and thromboembolic complications in the periprocedural period of an endoscopic procedure. It is therefore reasonable to divide patients into groups at low, moderate, and high risk of thromboembolism (TE), and endoscopic procedures into groups carrying a low or high bleeding risk.
