Eplerenon je selektivní antagonista mineralokortikoidních receptorů. Je schválen pro terapii chronického srdečního selhání se systolickou dysfunkcí levé komory a pro léčbu pacientů po infarktu myokardu komplikovaném srdečním selháním a dysfunkcí levé komory. Je také doporučen pro léčbu primárního hyperaldosteronismu a terapii rezistentní arteriální hypertenze.
