Experience of using the HYNI automated hydrostatic system for monitoring movement at the 1000 MW Temelín nuclear power station in the Czech Republic
Original language description
This paper describes our experience in using the HYNI automated hydrostatic measuring system used to monitor very small movements of the reactor housing and engine room components at the Temelín 2 x 1000 MW nuclear power station. The purpose of measurements is described in context of legislated monitoring requirements of power plants in the Czech Republic as well as required accuracies of these measurements. The HYNI and INVA sensors, developed at the Research Institute of Geodesy, Topography and Cartography, comply to accuracies needed to comply with stability requirements on the reactor housing base slab and two engine room components, each hosting a 1000 MW turbogenerator. Sensor accuracy is determined by standard deviation of vertical diference determined for the entire measuring system less then ? 0.05 mm, up to the distance of 100m. The measuring system has technical parameters that meet the requirements of industrial environment and corresponding larger temperature differences a
