Petrology and geochemistry of granulite clasts in the Visean Luleč conglomerate, Kulm in central Moravia, Czech Republic
Original language description
Ten samples of granulite clasts are characterized by analyses of major, minor and trace elements and by petrological data. The dominant felsic granulites of leucogranite composition are similar to some granulite types exposed in the present erosional section of the Moldanubian Zone. Clasts of highly peraluminous cordierite- garnet-sullimanite granulite are dešscribed for the first time and interpreted as possible restite after extraction of leucogranitic melts, which crystallized as felsic granulites. No kyanite-bearing felsic granulites were identified.
