Kladská and Mnichov - long-term hydrochemical changes in two catchments with contrasting vulnerability to acidification.
Original language description
The total atmospheric deposition fo sulfur declined by 75% from the beginning of 1990s to the beginning of 2000s in western Bohemia. Streamwater sulfate declined by similar percentage in the acidic Lysina catchment (from 570 to 145 ueq/l) and even more in the alkaline Pluhuv Bor catchment (from 1035 to 215 ueq/l). Such dramatic declines were not published in any other European or North American catchment.
