Original language description
Multidisciplinary study of the economically exploited sandstone of Schleifsteinbruch, Ressen Formation, Upper Gosau Subgroup. Palynomorphs and calcareous nannofossils indicate Lower Campanian age and shallow marine depositional conditions. According to mineralogical composition, the provenance-region were slightly metamorphic rocks rich in mica and chlorite.
